Default Investing in the stock market

After all the big question marks involving stocks over the past few years, I was just wondering if any of you have still considered investing money, or have decided to go ahead with it?

I haven't invested anything, but with how things have been going lately...I feel screwed anyway, so I may as well start taking some chances where I can. Does anyone here invest?

I never have but a few years ago my spouse did and it was all Pepsi stock. I am not even sure its worth it really, I really hate the idea of waking up each morning to see I am losing a ton of money.

We all could use some extra money. I was a stock market fan for quite some time, but soon after I became disappointed with it. In theory it seems like you can make loads of money but the reality is totally different. The problem with the stock market is that it's highly volatile. Anything and I mean almost anything can cause it to go up or down. It could be rumors about a new CEO taking over a company for example.

If you would like to invest it's better to go for government bonds. They may not yield that much money but they are less riskier.
