Default Leftovers, It's What's For Dinner

I admit, my family isn't the most accepting of leftovers. However, with grocery prices going through the roof, I have to serve leftovers until they either get eaten or until they aren't edible any more. Does your family accept leftovers?

I know what you mean. I may rework the leftovers into another dish, but they have to be eaten. We can't afford to throw food out now. It's a shame that things have gotten to this point.

My family loves leftovers! It's called "fend for yourself night" dinner. The kids love it, they can eat whenever they want to. We don't have to eat together that night. I also take leftovers to work for lunch.

My family does not mind leftovers. I usually make them into something else though - like chicken becomes salad or quesadilla's. Pork becomes pulled pork or bbq pork in the crock pot. Of course lasagna is just lasagna!

My family isn't the best about left overs either. They aren't the worst either so I can't really complain too much about them. They will eat them, but I do have to get a little creative with the leftovers.

My family is used to leftovers and knows better than to complain. We have leftovers for dinners and lunches. I purposefully make meals that stretch.

I don't think many of us can do without using everything these days. The way food prices have risen has absolutely floored me. I would rather finish what we have than to throw it out. We all waste entirely too much food in this country anyway.
