Default Lunches docked

Our office just sent out a memo stating that lunches over the allowed time span will be docked by pay. I am not sure how they plan to enforce this for salary people, any clue?

You don't have a set time for salaried employees - you are able to take as long as a lunch as you choose as long as you work 40+ hours a week.

It's too bad that some people must be abusing their lunch period so they are cracking down.

I guess they could start watching the salaried employees to see when they leave and when they come back. I agree that it's a shame that people are abusing the lunch period. I can't think of another reason why your workplace would dock.
