Lightbulb Money for sickness in the family

Although there is medical insurance any kind of sickness in the family still requires additional spending. Do you include some kind of savings for such occurence?

I do, but I don't put it in a separated savings. I just has the savings for emergency funds including that additional spending. It is more practical, as our health condition tells us that we wouldn't need it very often.

It all gets put into the emergency fund savings. we have retirement savings, and then that. We put in what we can, but it adds up pretty quickly.
