Default PayPal Money for Emegencies

Since I am a stay-at-home mom, I feel like I don't help out enough financially. For the past couple of years, I have been writing articles online and saving the money I make on my PayPal card. We use that money for emergencies, Christmas or trips. I don't make that much, maybe $100 per month, but it's enough to do things with and we don't have to touch our bank account.

I do the same! I make a little here and there from different kinds of online work (I do some writing, but I also do some consulting/backup graphic work for a friend who does web design) and I keep the money in an account that I rarely touch. It's always nice to have a safety net in place.

I'd like to have an account for this kind of thing, but I can't say that I do. I'm usually stuck trying to pay off past-due accounts and keep things in the black.

I do this as well. I try to keep at least a couple of hundred bucks to the side in case of emergencies. Right now my husband isn't working very much though so I am using my earnings to help pay the bills.

I try to keep at least 200 in my Paypal for emergencies too. Sometimes I have to dip into it for bills, but most of the time it works out good.

I work at home with three different jobs - one writing, two transcribing. All three jobs pay via Paypal and my system is to keep the money from two of the jobs in the Paypal account and the income from the other gets transferred to my bank account. The only time I use my Paypal account is for Christmas presents so throughout the course of the year it builds up quite a bit.

I work online to get extra income also and I wish I could keep my money in my PayPal account untouched. There are just too many bills to pay, and I would always end up withdrawing the money.

I also do online work and keep some of my salaries in my PayPal account but most of the time it gets into my bank account where I keep it until I need it. Right now, I need it because I have quit my offline job.

Has anyone seen this? I about blew a gasket reading this when a friend mentioned it. I know that Paypal can be good and I have heard when they can be bad too, but at least there was some action with this, with the bank.

Gosh what a shock that would be! I have a Paypal account also mainly for Ebay buying and selling. I make some money doing surveys on line but they usually pay me in Amazon vouchers so I normally have a bit sitting in Amazon which is good to use when I need household goods or gifts for anyone.
