Default Payroll tax extension passed

Finally today the payroll tax relief extension was passed. It is only for 2 months but it's a start. So we will continue to only have 4.2% for Social Security taken out of our checks. Yeah!

I saw that and am glad too! I did not think they were going to pass it. One group wanted a full year and the other group did not want to mess with the full year so close to Christmas!

Yeah! It's about time they did something in the Government to help us out. I didn't want to pay an extra $1000 in taxes over the year either. I'm glad that some Government employees actually said lets get this hammered out before the New Year.

They had a difficult time making that decision, too! I hate to see how long it is going to take them to figure out the country's debt problems.
