I went to my local grocery store today and bought 4 boxes of Capn Crunch and 2 multi pack bags of chips. They were each buy 1 get 1 free and I had a coupon for each item. When you bought 6 items you also racked up 200 gas points which equals .20 cents off gas!
That's wonderful! I have been trying to coupon but I've not been getting the deals they do on "Extreme Couponing". I would love to be able to do that. I DO however, wind up saving anywhere from $5 to $10 everytime I go on a shopping trip.
I'm trying to learn too. I don't do that well but I do try to use coupons as much as I can. The thing I go up against is the fact that I use a lot of generics and the name brand, even with the coupon, is much higher than the generic brand.
