A group of us in my department have decided to go together and purchase a Meat tray for our holiday party. I said we should just go to Wegman’s grocery store and buy the meat and roll it ourselves. I am sure it would save a ton of money. A couple of the others were like “gross no”. Why? Would you buy it yourself and roll it to save money?

Sure would... What is wrong with it. I say grab some gloves and get rolling. I bet you will even get a better deli meat too and it will be cheaper. I have noticed that meat trays sometimes have cheaper deli meat in them.

If I had time I would, if I didn't have time I would order it done already. I don't see anything wrong with either way. Happy- you can specify what type of meat you want on your tray. You will pay more for better quality meat but it's worth it.

I think this is a great idea, and you would save a ton of money compared to the grocery store prices for deli trays in my area. They will even sell you a tray for a dollar or two, and no one would know the difference.

I would absolutely roll the meat myself for a meat and cheese tray. Doing something like that will save you some cash, and it won't take long at all.
