Default Sam's Club?

Do you think Sam's Clubs is still worth it? Our food budget is tight and I am trying to figure out if we can still afford to shop there.

I don't think so. We used to waste everything we brought home, well almost. Buying is bulk is alright but most times it costs more when you go to Sam's Club. I stopped going there many years ago.

I don't think it's worth it either and I actually did not renew our membership when it ran out in April of this year.

To be honest, I never really liked it. My friend bought me a membership for Christmas a few years back. I would go when I went shopping in the city but never thought the prices were that great. I found shopping at my local grocery store with coupons was cheaper.

I think I have to pretty much agree. Unless you have a really large family and it save you to buy in bulk like that. Most of the time I ended up spending more then I needed to and didn't use all of what I bought.

I still have a membership, but that is only because my sister and I share one and she renewed it. I don't think they are worth it anymore. I used to save a lot of money there, but not anymore.

I still shop there for some sales. For example, I just bought a new laptop there for $899. With out this sale and in other stores I could not find anything cheaper than $1000.

I don't think it's worth it. I used to keep a membership all of the time but found I was buying foolish things that I really didn't need and not buying foods that I needed because of the amount.

Once it gained in popularity it slowly raised their prices without most people noticing. They have some good sales but I wouldn't use it for everything.

I used to but now for me I would have to travel too far and with gas prices, the drive is not worth the savings. The other issue is we only buy few things in bulk.

I haven't shopped there in years and back when I did, I didn't notice a huge savings. My father has recently been trying to convince me to get another membership because he thinks bulk shopping makes sense, but I don't think it would be beneficial to me.
