I used to do secret shopping all the time and it was not a scam. Of course I worked with a company that secret shopped some of the bigger brand names. I got to keep what I bought and got a small payment as well.
I often hear about secret shopping (mystery shopping) jobs but I don't know how it work. Do you have to really pay what you buy, or does the hiring company pay it for you?
