Do you use store credit cards when you shop? I tend to use them a lot because I get points and the points turn into money off my next purchase.

I always pay them off each month, but I do like the points.

I like using cards that give me extra discounts. Often the store cards discount will go with other discounts and coupons, giving you the best savings.

Store credit cards for points, no, except for an amazon.com card which is also a visa card. Otherwise, I use my normal points cards.

I have : Kohl's, Fashion Bug, Maurice's, American Eagle and Sear's store credit cards. When I shop at any of those stores and use their card as payment I get rewards.

Each one is different. On some I get points for dollars and the points turn into a coupon voucher. For instance at F-Bug, every $100 I charge, I get a $10 coupon to use.

Why not rack up rewards when I'm shopping, I have to shop so I might as well get rewarded to do it.

I only use Kohl's around Christmas when they have the excellent discounts if you use your Kohl's card. For everything else I use a regular credit card or debit card.
