Is anyone starting to get your bills and papers in order for income tax time? I've been trying to gather them up as I go through some things to throw away and with all of the medical bills we have this year, I don't think we will have any trouble with getting a good refund. How about you?
I have them filed according to service and such. It doesn't take me much to pull them together. I learned long ago to be organized with stuff like this. I bought a filing cabinet and I file everything as soon as I can. It makes it much easier to do taxes and some other financial matters if you are organized.
Nope, then again I don't file long form I file short form. I don't need a lot of papers, just my W2s and whatever people send me. Good luck getting a lot of money back this year. I'm hoping to as well.
I do file long form but I keep my papers in order all year long. I am super organized so it makes tax time less stressful. Chickie have you checked to see if you can file long form?
Yes we have been pulling things out and getting ready too. I wish I was more organized - it takes forever every year to get the info we need . Happymom can you send me some organization skills?
Once a month, sometimes twice or more, I go through and file stuff away. This way when the time comes I can be ready with about a hour or two worth of work.
