I think the time has come for us to purchase a new family vehicle and I have no idea how we are going to pay for it. I keep hoping we can find something we can pay cash for, but even used cars seem horribly overpriced.
Everything that is a gas saver has been hiked up in price until it's almost out of reach. But think of the money you would save if you buy something that is more economical. The best deals are had if you buy from a private buyer instead of a car lot. Car dealerships have to get their profit in so it increases the price.
Yes I agree that buying from an individual is a better deal - but you have to be careful because there is no warranty then. I am thinking I need a new car soon too.
You got it! They are overpriced! I can remember when you could buy a small car cheap! Now the small cars are expensive. It is the crazy gas prices! Good luck finding one that is good and priced just right.
Well unfortunately we can't buy anything too small my kids barely fit in the back seat as it is (Ford Focus). I love the car I have but I just can't see putting any more money in it. It's a 2000 and we've already replaced just about everything but the engine!
