I am in the position where I really want to get a new job. Unfortunately I can't afford it. I have to stay in a job I don't like because I need the money. I'm fortunate enough to have a job but it's frustrating. Anybody else in a similar position?
Yes, you are lucky to have a job even though you may not like it. Is there a way you can search around for another and do interviews on your lunch hour? I would at least keep an eye out for something that might come along, you never know.
I've been in that position before and it's a bizarre place to be. Sometimes it just isn't possible to work out the logistics of a job change. I hope your situation improves soon and you can make the change you want.
