When I quit my job to stay at home, what did you give up? My kids were 5 and 2 when I quit, so it didn't affect them financially so much. But now that they are in middle school and like to do stuff, they are feeling the pinch now.

We didn't have to give up anything but cable (so far) and we don't go out as much, but with kids a lot of times it's easier staying in anyway.

My sanity.

Honestly, I still work, but I work from home and I am okay with that. I still spend time with my girl, things still are done around the house and I do not work in PJ's no matter what people thing about SAHP's who also WAH.

I quit my job and started working at home last year. Basically I didn't give up anything, as I don't usually spend so much. I just cook my own meal more often than eat in the eatery.
