I am noticing a huge trend with people in my age group and they will spend money on job about anything, even things they do not need. I am wondering where all the frivolous spending starting from??

Yeah, I have noticed that. It seems that the bigger the better in some of these people's estimation. I've seen a jump in the sales of electronics more than anything else. But, if you've got the money to spare and you don't want to save for old age, then spend it. I would rather save for later.
