No, I wouldn't ask how much your wage is , but I am curious if you think you have been getting as much as you deserve, considering your position and responsibility at work.
No! But I believe that is always the case. I don't think I'm paid nearly as much as I should be. I do like my work most days though and it's an ok wage so I won't complain. There are people without jobs and without any salary.
I make pretty good money but there is always room for a raise. I think in these tough economic times that my pay is good. I know what others are paid that work with me and we all are about the same.
Many places are still in a raise freeze and the few I know who have gotten around this have been lucky. It involves the company promoting the worker to a new position in order to get around the freeze.
Most people will always answer the same way. For me its different since I have been with this company since the start, I know if they could pay everyone more they would. We are a tight knit group and still have a blast working together, so for me, for now, its tolerable.
