Default Bedding

I have seen numerous advertisements in our local paper and local online sites that offer mattresses free or for a very cheap price. Sorry, but this isn't something I would buy. If I buy a mattress, it has to be new even though it's not an ecologically sound practice. I can't stand to think of all of the human fluids and bugs including dust mites that may be on someone else's mattress as well as the support being gone from a used mattress. What do you think?

I think that you have to stay away from all used furniture. The country is starting to have a bed bug epidemic and buying used furniture is the top way of getting them.

I know! That really creeps me out and I don't think I could stand getting bed bugs in my house. I've made sure my kids know that bedding does not leave our house and anything they bring back from an overnight outing is brought in through the mud room into the washer straight away.

I'm extremely paranoid when it comes to used furniture. I will not get anything that has any upholstery on it. I will buy dining room furniture or kitchen furniture because they can all be washed down before bringing it into the house.
