Default Budget Plan

We got on our electric company's budget plan this year and I love it. We pay the same thing every month and when the bill gets excessive in the winter, we will still be paying the same thing. I love it. It sure helps with the budget. Do you participate in a program like this?

I've never done that. I don't think our electric company offers that. I will certainly check and see. That sounds like it would be a much easier way to get the electric bill paid. Thanks for the tip.

I've heard of that but haven't done it. Don't they average out the past 6 months or 12 months, then that is what your payments will be? Of course that can work for you or against you, just depends. Maybe I will look into it and see.

That sounds like something I think I will look into with our electric company and see if it will help us. I'm thinking too that they probably average it out over a period of time, so think I will ask them. Who knows, we may come out better in the long run?

We are on the same kind of program and it is so nice to pay the same all year long instead of having huge bills in the winter and small ones in the summer.

It's worked splendidly so far. We are three months into the budget plan and we have a nice little sum already built up for the cold winter months. It's going to be so nice to be able to afford the bill instead of having to work out payment of the higher bills.

I have never even heard of this before, is it something setup with your specific company or do all of them do this? I swear this is news to me but I would love to know more.

I bet the US government could learn a thing or two from your budget plan! We have a simple budget for our own and we have alerts set in case we get close to going over in a month, the company will actually contact us to make sure all is okay.
