Default Getting Rid Of Weeds Naturally

Does anyone have trouble with weeds in the cracks of their sidewalks or driveways? I have a perfect way to get rid of the weeds. Pour boiling water on them. The boiling water will kill them pretty quick. You can also use salt on them but it is a permanent solution.

Great idea!! We have weeds and we hate to do the harmful weed killers because we always have kids in our yard. Once you put boiling water on them, can you pull them up to get the root?

I tend to salt around a good bit of our outside area for this reason alone but I have never tried the water trick. Sounds nice, too bad I do not have a normal sidewalk in my yard though, we plan to redo it anyways so I guess any weeds that venture around will be in for a surprise!!

Oh my gosh I wish I would have known this before I even bothered to use that store bought weed killer. Thats a stellar idea. Do you know if this works for grass also? I have larger grass that grows on the side of my driveway that drives me crazy.

That's a wonderful idea! It's a 'why didn't I think of that before' thing. I normally use salt for that purpose, and it always works well, using boiling water sounds like a good alternative to it.

I've never heard of doing this before! It's a wonderful idea. I guess they would be cooked. Do you need to pull the remains out when you get done or is it alright to leave them?
