Default Greener kids?

Are your kids greener than yourself? I don't know what my niece has learned at school but now it is she who tells her mother to turn off the light before leaving a room and close the tap when brushing teeth. Cool!

I think children are growing up learning that we need to take care of our environment. The teach it in school, so I do believe that they are greener than older generations are.

I think so Manning, and that's great. There will be times when we need to learn from the younger ones to better take care of the environment.

My eldest daughter is definitely the green enforcer in the house. I have always been green, so it's wonderful to see her so interested. She's passionate about recycling and taking care of the environment.

When I was a kid, I wasn't as conscious about saving the planet as my younger cousins and nephews and nieces are now. I think it's because we've never given the campaign on protecting the environment as much emphasis as we do now. Children of today are more exposed to discussions about the threats of Mother Nature being destroyed, global warming etc.

Kids are being taught in school now, how to be green with almost everything they do. I am so glad they have started conservation training in the schools. Maybe with the younger generation's help, we will be able to do more for our planet before we have run out of resources.

Yeah, it's great to know that kids learn these green things in school now. I don't remember ever being taught about global warming and helping the environment in my school days.
