Default How to naturally unclog a drain?

I have a bathroom sink that is driving me nuts. The thing keeps getting clogged but I don't want to pour any harsh chemicals down the drain because I have small kids. What can I do to unclog it naturally?

Vinegar and baking soda will naturally unclog a drain. If you ever remember makeing volcanoes with vinegar and baking soda as a kid, the acidic reaction between the two cuts through clogs.

I use vinegar and baking soda as well. I pour a good amount of baking soda down the drain followed by the vinegar. It bubbles up and does cut through the stuff. I usually let it sit then follow up with 2 pots of boiling water as well.

Funny I just read this somewhere the other day but I had never heard of it before that. I have a bathroom drain I am going to try it on in the morning.

I have never heard of that before. My kitchen sink drains very slow. I`m going to try that method. In the past I have used bleach. It worked but only one time. It doesn`t keep it unclogged.
