Default Low-e windows

Has anyone ever heard of these before? They are advertised to help lower the cooling needed during the hot months and keep extra sun rays out of your home to protect you from sun damage.

Yup, I installed low-e double pane windows at my old house. I did not get the argon gas filled ones. Those are insanely expensive and unless you do every window you do not get the benefit of them from what I was told.

The low-e is a coating they put on the glass. Think of it as built in window tint.
