Default Natural Alternatives to Moth Balls

I have an old aunt whose dressers and closets seem to reek of moth ball smell. Moth balls are said to be unhealthy as they release toxic substances. I've told her to stop using moth balls and find other more natural remedies...What are the healthy alternatives to moth balls?

Cedar chips will work. They are said to repeal bugs.
Storing in the vacuum sealed bags will work too.

A "moth ball" sachet.
Dried lavender
Cedar chips
A few drops of lavender and cedar oils
Dried rosemary
Dried Thym
Dried cloves

Place in a sachet with drawstrings.

This sounds pretty neat! Ya, I remember...Cedar chips are quite known to drive away insects and repel moisture as well...I would surely love the combination of herbs and oils. Lavender and rosemary are a favorite of mine. Thanks...
