Default Non-toxic cleaners

Hi everyone. Want to share what you use to replace harsh chemical cleaners? I've discovered that vinegar is just amazing around the house. It's great for cleaning windows to sanitizing surfaces (very acidic).

Vinegar has been used as a cleaning agent for a long time but I also discovered this just now. How do you get rid of the smell after you have cleaned windows?

How are you diluting this to start with? If anything there should not be much of a smell left over when you are finished. I think you might be mixing incorrectly there mate.

I have been planning to try the simple green cleaners just as soon as I can find them. My little one is all over the floor so I want something that is for sure non toxic.

You might be right donna about the ratio of water and vinegar. I usually mixed 2 measures of vinegar to 1 measure of water. Will the type of vinegar affects the odor? I'm using a sugar cane vinegar.
