Default Paperless billing

Am I the only person left who hasn't gone paperless yet? I guess I'm just old fashioned, but I like to have a paper bill in my hand. When you go paperless do you print out copies of your statements or just view it online and leave it at that?

I don't do the paperless thing either for two reasons. One I am a mommy to two small children and forgetful, and two if you are paperless you tend to miss the "special statements" from companies announcing their price hikes, and then you get suprised when your cable bill doubles.

I am paperless on some things and not others. The important bills like heat, water and electricity are all paper. The other bills are paperless.

Most of my bills are paperless and I love that! I hate having bills laying around. I get the e-mail that I have a bill due and I go pay it right away. Almost all of my bills are set up so it's a couple of clicks and it's paid.

I don't print them out.

I have some that are taken out of my account automatically each month, so I don't get paper bills for them. I pay electric and phone online, so I don't need the paper bills, but I've been getting them.

I have gone paperless on a lot of my billings. I have enough paper clutter in my room, so I don't need more. I'm pretty organized in terms of paying my bills, so I don't actually need a paper thing to remind me that the water or electricity bill is already due.

I have not gone yet. Even with quicken reminding me, I would still forget. I also like to have some things like mortgage payments that I can file away.

I am guessing almost but not quite. I still know some people that are in the process of moving over. There is some weird thing on the market now about the size of a book, its a scanner that scans everything you have and sticks it into a program like quicken for your record keeping.

Are you referring to the Neat Receipts Scanner? It is a nice idea but it is too expensive for me to try.

That would be awesome! I'm afraid to go paperless too. I thought I was just being old fashioned but I'm glad to know there are some others that feel the same. I'm always worrying I would forget to print a receipt or that my computer would crash and I would lose all of the data.
