Default Recycling 'Games'

My daughter has an educational game, and one of the big things it pushes is recycling-to the point that she guilt trips her gran when we visit. I love it personally but my mother gets really huffy-do you agree with training kids in this way? It seems oddly controversial and I don't know why.

I would love to be able to get a game like that for my children! They see all the things in the news and on TV about "going green" and I talk to them quite a bit about it, but that would be a great way to teach them as well! I would love it if they went to relatives and talked about it because it is very important to me!

I have to agree with HomesweetHome - it's really great to see kids educating their elders about living "green." The only thing I wish is that the elders would get on board with it before this planet gets completely ruined for those that are young now. I would hate for my grandchildren to go around in 50 years and say, "I wish my grandmother had listened."

That's really funny. I don't believe it should be a problem, she should be happy her grand kids are learning and are willing to share, I guess no one likes to be corrected.

She should be glad that they are excited about helping the environment. I must confess before my baby was born last year we didn't recycle much but now we recycle nearly everything.
