I know you can recycle small plastics, like milk containers. What about bigger things, though, like plastic furniture. I don't want things like that to be taken to the dump if they can be recycled.

I've never heard of anyone recycling large plastic items. I'm sure there is some way to recycle them. Maybe someone can tell us both how to do it.
