Default Recycling Water

Recycling or reusing water can surely lower our water consumption. We can water the plants using the water that was used on the last rinsing when doing laundry or when washing dishes. How do you recycle your water?

We have a build in system that uses the water that we take a shower with in the toilet. So it is recycling water without even thinking about it!
When I do use water I try to use the minimal amount however.

We have a rain barrel hooked up to the guttering and a hand pump that lets us get water out of it and we also can hook up a hose to it and we can water the garden by gravity. It's got a lid that we can take off to clean gunk out of it and a small hole for air intake so it can pump more efficiently. We use that for plants and for outdoor uses for the most part. If we don't have enough water in it then we use creek water to supplement it for watering the garden

We use gray water to water the yard and plants too. Altogether it makes a big difference in our water bill and it makes a difference for the plants too.

Interesting. Could you be more specific with this? I know using gray water will significantly reduce your water bill. What about the plants? Do they grow better or worse with the gray water?

Webhouse depending on where you live the plants are just happy to get some water. I have never noticed the plants not growing as well from using grey water.
