Default Saving The Oil?

What do you do with your cooking grease and oil that you use to cook with? I would love to be able to recycle it somewhere but I'm not sure where I would take it. Does anyone know if there is somewhere that takes it in cities?

We don't use a deep fryer at home. I don't know what I would do with the grease. I'm thinking I would dump it in the garbage? Of course once it was cool.

You could ask if a local restaurant would take it. I used to be a manager at a wing place and sometimes people would ask us. We had grease traps out back, and someone would come clean them out. I am not sure what they do with it though.

I examine in a gardening volume that you immerse newspapers with used cooking oil. Then use it as a bottom layer before mulching. It froms a better fence against weeds.

This is interesting. I'll have to try it. The only recycling I do with cooking oil is reusing it if it does not look too disgusting.
