Do you use an electric or manual toothbrush? I think using a manual toothbrush can save us electricity and help the environment a bit, but do you think it is worth it?
It's probably not very much use as a 'green' effort. Think about the battery disposal problem! I don't like the electric type anyhow. I tried one once, it felt like my dental work was under attack!
I've never tried an electric toothbrush, but I wouldn't think it would help the environment. Electric ones wouldn't be using that much electricity and if you use batteries, the disposal could be a problem.
I've never tried an electric toothbrush, either. I have a manual one and I haven't thought about how it could affect the environment. With an electric, I also think about battery disposal as a problem.
I have tried using an electric toothbrush. It was an interesting experience. I used that toothbrush until the battery ran out, and I haven't used it since! Maybe I'm just old fashion, but I like my regular old toothbrush.
Call me an old school guy, but I always use a manual toothbrush. I have ever tried an electric toothbrush and I didn't like it. The wife prefers the electric one though.
My wife prefers electric tooth brushes too, I am old fashioned and enjoy the manual ones, nice and hard manual ones. I am resistant to change, even with my tooth brush.
I like manual toothbrushes - the electric ones are too hard on my teeth. There are some that you don't have to use batteries, you just use the outlet. You are using electric though!
Thanks guys, it seems that I am not alone here. I prefer a manual toothbrush myself. With the electric ones, especially those who don't need batteries, I concern about the safety.
Well, I have a load of dental problems so I use a battery powered one. It cleans my teeth a whole lot better than the manual one and I don't have to worry about not having gotten everything. My dentist recommended one for me.
