I've seen a lot of advertisements for this type of device and I wonder if anyone has ever had any experience with one? I need something. We get tiny mice during the fall and then again in the spring. I've sealed everything I can find and still they get in somehow.

I've never used one but if it deters the mice without hurting them then it's worth a try. Ugh I shudder to see or think of mousetraps. I have friends who swear by cats for taking care of this problem, but that is as cruel as the traps in my opinion!

We had some mice get inside last winter and I didn't want to use the traps that kill them (sometimes very cruelly). I got the catch-and-release type, but if you don't get them released soon after they're caught, those can be cruel, too. I hope there is someone who has used the ultrasonic and can tell us more about them.
