Default Upside Down Strawberry Grower

I saw one of these in the store the other day and wondered if anyone has tried them? I would imagine they are like the upside down tomato growers but I haven't tried them either. Any advice on either of them?

I've seen the tomato growers, but not the ones for strawberries. We were going to try the upside down tomato thing this year because the concept makes sense. If you try it, let us know how your strawberries turn out

I'm with you in that I saw the tomato one but not the strawberry one. I think I've read somewhere that the tomato one didn't really work that well and only produced a small amount of produce and was small. It wasn't anything like the pictures on the television ad.

I have not gotten anything setup for planting time but this is something that seems interesting enough. I mean if it works for the tom's, why not other things you are growing?
