Default Washer without an agitator

Has anyone seen one of these? My friend just got one and it's really cool! I'm not sure exactly what makes it so energy efficient, but it is. And it's great because since there's no agitator in the way, you can put a ton of clothes in it.

I've seen those and they look huge! I would love to have one, but it's going to have to wait until I have a reason. Can't justify replacing my existing washer until it dies on me. Of, course, now that I said that, it will probably break tomorrow

I have one and it works so well. It also has a high speed spin cycle that almost dries the clothes. When I put them in the dryer, it takes very little time for them to dry. It's wonderful!

Oh, I want one!! I wonder how much of a bed clothes change it would take? I bet you could do all of the sheets AND maybe the blanket in one load. Man, I do want one!! What's it called?

Our machine is the front loading sort so of course it does not have an agitator. I love the fact that it uses only a fraction of the water. In addition to the water savings, it also is easier on my delicates.

Are these washers the ones that come in pretty colors, like bright red or blue? I would love to get one of those! The washers I'm thinking of are the front loader types. I think they are the same. Nice!

Are they anything like the washers at some laundromats? I think it would be great and certainly more green to be able to fit more clothes in per load. A shorter trying time sounds fabulous as well...a real win-win for both me and the environment!

You'd also save money another way as your clothes will last longer. The agitation when washing is one of the worst things for the fabric and causes the clothes to wear out sooner, pill more and fade more.

I didn't realize they had one of these. Of course it has been a good while since I purchased a washer, could be why. They do sound neat and I really hate that agitator. Maybe I will look around and see what the cost is for one.

We have a frontloader and I enjoy not having an agitator but otherwise I don't care much for it anymore. I want an energy efficient toploader; I don't know if they have an agitator or not though.
