I like the old-time look of a chair railing in the living room and family room and I want to add one. I want paneling up to the chair rail, painted wall from the rail to the ceiling, and a border around the wall at the ceiling. I've seen it done and it looks good. I'm thinking about doing the work myself. Is there anything I should consider before I start?
