Default Building a laundry room

My laundry room consists of a washer and dryer in the corner of our unfinished basement. I would really like to make it a more enjoyable space where I can fold and hang. How much of a project is it to put up a couple of walls and some shelving?

This is a medium size project. Putting up a wall is actually not hard at all to do, the only thing you need to be careful that you still have plenty of air circulation in the basement. If you put up too many walls then the air can't circulate which is bad in a moist environment

You can find easy to install shelving at home improvement stores.

Good luck with your project.

How large do you want the room? Size matters when it comes to building since you will need to figure out how much material you need. Otherwise its not that bad of an install process pending you know what you are doing.

I agree with both of the above posters, it's not a big deal to add walls and shelves. The money is the issue - depending on how big the room is and how long you want the walls. Be sure to use something strong to hold up the shelves.
