I have new leather couches and a new cat = not a good mix. She scratched pretty much every panel on it and I'm afraid the little holes will tear and become worse. I have enquired about leather repair, which is quite reasonable, but they warned me it would never look the same again.

Has anyone had leather repair done?

P.S. It is a very soft leather (compound leather)

My folks had it done on there leather car seats and it looked really good- it was about $200 and it was the tiniest tear. If they're brand new I think it'll be worth it.
