We have a garage on the side of our house and we hope to finally enclose it the first part of the year. We need the room and after we get it done it will just look like part of the house. It already has two big windows facing the front so we don't have to add those. I sure hope it all goes nice and smooth.
Oh man! I would love to do that but we can't right now. Maybe before too much longer when we pay down the house a bit more, we can do that and then build a detached garage. I'm not fond of having the garage attached to the house anyway. Good luck with your remodel!
That sounds so nice! We did ours a few years ago and it was wonderful! It was messy while we were doing it but it turned into a great family room. We even added a fireplace to the room and it's wonderful!
That does sound like it will be nice when it is all done. With having it already attached to the house I wouldn't think it would take to long to finish. I'm sure your whole family will enjoy it when completed.
We also did this and it came out great. We are using it as a large family room and game room. It didn't take as long as I thought it would and we ended up getting one of those portable garages that worked out just right for our car.
