Default corked flooring?

We are thinking of doing this ourselves but where do we start? I heard that sometimes you need different types of sealent/glue depending on the type of flooring you have. How do you know which one to pick?

I'm sure where ever you end up getting the Corked flooring they will have instructions or can give you some tips. I love that type of flooring and have heard some good things about it. Good luck.

Not too sure about the glue that holds it down but I know that corked floors are great when it comes to standing the test of time. A friend has some in her den and kitchen, with 3 kids and all of the kid parties she has hosted, not even a scratch on them! Color me impressed.

There is a wet set and dry set gluing method for cork floors. Always use an adhesive recommended by the company, to make sure it is compatible with the material. I'm sure cork flooring comes with the instructions as DonnaLee has mentioned. I am wondering if the glue comes with the cork flooring or if it has to be bought separately.

I've never heard of a cork floor before. I would love to see a picture. Cero, that is amazing! Color me impressed too! I have changed the kitchen floor here at my house twice already (lived here 8 years).

My brother and his wife put down cork flooring in the kitchen. At first, I couldn't imagine that it would really look nice. But now that it's down I love it and it's so comfortable to walk on.
