If you could have any kind of counter top in your kitchen or bathroom, what would it be? Corian, marble, stone? Something entirely different? I am trying to get ideas together for our new house and I just can't decide what I like.

I would do marble. It last for centuries and is easy to clean. The only thing bad about it is the expense and then you've paid so much for it you can't change it. But I would go with marble if it were me.

I agree, when I get enough money saved up I plan to change my counter tops over to marble. It will be a big change from the 1970s counter tops I have. Not sure what they are called.
