Default Dehumidifiers

We need a new dehumidifier, ours is old and won't work anymore. Anyone want to suggest one to me? I'm looking to spend no more than $200 and it's for the basement (if that matters).

I would just suggest shopping around in places like Walmart or Kmart to see what they have. Did you like the one you had? If so, why not get another one like it unless it cost more then $200?

The old one was great but they don't sell them anymore. We bought one from Wal-Mart 2 years ago and it died about 2 months ago. It was junk.

Thanks though!

I bought a Kenmore one from Sears a few years back and it works great. I've had no problems with it so far. I have always had good luck with Kenmore items though.

Thanks, I'll take a look online at Sears and see what they have to offer. Do you know how much they cost there? We are trying to not break the bank - yet we want a good one.

Sears is good and so is Best Buy if you find a sale going on. They usually have good stuff and good prices during a sale.

I am guessing you are looking for a large room/home size one, not a personal one for a night stand? Have you checked placed like Amazon yet or any other online main shopping sites?

I haven't had good luck with Kenmore appliances so I don't generally look at their appliances any more. I would go online to see what is available and check the reviews for different models. That's generally what I do when I start looking for something.
