Default DIY plumbing or hire a professional?

We need to have some plumbing done in the bathroom and my hubby wants to do try and do it himself. It is putting in a new sink and redoing all the pipes underneath. He doesn't seem to think it will be very hard. Have any of you done this before?

We did it one time a while back. It wasn't real hard but if you don't have the patience to make sure everything is connected right then to keep checking it to make sure it isn't linking a few times, you might want to hire a professional.

I used to say I would never do plumbing. But I'm slowly getting into it. However, that project may be over my head, and I would hire someone. I'll stick to the outside stuff, or basic things like fixing leaky faucets.

My husband has learned to be quite handy in all of these areas over the last several years. He has redone the pipes under the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. He had to redo the kitchen sink when we replaced the garbage disposal. However, we have moved around a lot because of my previous job, and when we lived in Seattle, we had a Seattle plumber that was excellent! We had the entire bathroom plumbing redone, and never had to worry about him taking too long or doing shotty work! So look in to a good plumber if you can get some recommendations and do not feel like doing it yourself.
