Default He wants to what?

My husband and I have been try to finish a home we purchase. Well, this is my issue, the family room looked horrible when we bought it. I think a nature lover owned it because it looked like a very rustic cabin inside. VERY RUSTIC! Anyway, my husband fixed the room and it looks beautiful now. However, the guy that helped him hang dry wall didn't put the tape down right and there is some bubbles in the crease of the ceiling in the middle of the room. My husband wants to take molding and stick it in the crease! I told his no way and he got mad at me. I think it will cheapen the room. What do you think? Leave it or put the molding up?

I would leave it. I don't think molding through the center of the ceiling would look right. You may want to paint it with a sponge painting technique to hide some of the imperfections. That does add dimension and detract the eye from the spots.

I don't think I would like that either. Have you thought of stamped celings? Or you could go with pebbled if you don't want that. Either one would hide imperfections. If you don't like those options, I agree with painting it to hide it. Most people aren't going to see it anyway because most people don't look up.
