Our bedroom ceiling is leaking! My hubby has been on the roof twice in the last month trying to fix it. He has patched it twice now. I don’t think he is getting the spot because it keeps dripping every time we get a lot of rain. Anyone have any tips on how to find the exact spot?
What is it near, maybe the side where the chimney is (if you have one)? Thankfully we have never had this issue but I know from time to time its a headache from what my uncle has told me.
I feel your pain. We've had leaks in our games room, since we had our roof re-shingled. They messed up the flashing around the edges and my husband suspects the water is seeping in where the siding meets the roof, but he hasn't been able to totally fix it yet.
We've been there done that several times. Leaks are so hard to fix. It's always tough to find exactly where the water is coming from. It has a way of finding different routes which makes it harder to fix.
