We are thinking about mounting the TV from the ceiling on a swivel, has anyone done this before? I am thinking as long as we get a large stud or beam we should be fine, right?
I've used wall mounts before, but not from ceiling. The one I bought was big enough to hit studs on both sides. But it came with some heavy duty anchors and bolts.
We know someone who did this, but it was a smaller flat screen tv that they put in their kitchen. They had it where you could turn it and see it in the kitchen or in the dining room. Pretty cool actually!
We were shopping for a TV this weekend for a smaller one that the kids can use I was amazed at the prices. $250.00 for a 13", what the heck? Now to hide that I could just put a box over it.
