Default Moving.....Again

My husband has found a place for us to rent that is much better than what we have now at a much cheaper price. So, he has the moving bug again. I hate to move but he's pretty much convinced this would be better for us and I have to reluctantly agree. Does anyone hate to move as much as I do?

I hate to move. I am lucky that I have not had to do it in many years. However, if you find something better or cheaper than you really do have to consider it.

I hate to move! We're planning a move for next year and I am absolutely dreading it. I know we have to sell because we are very unhappy with our location right now, but, I swear, this had better be the last time.

Oh yes, I hate to move. But if the new location or the new house is better, then I can definitely deal with it...Moving really takes a lot of time and work - packing then unpacking, etc. That explains why it isn't something that I look forward to.

I really don't mind moving, but it is a lot of work. I usually start packing things as soon as I know we're moving, but it seems like no matter hard I try, there's still plenty of stuff to pack up close to moving day. It's always exciting to me to move to a new place, but I'm hoping to move one more time and that be the last time.

I HATE moving. If I had my choice I would stay in one place until the day I die, but sometimes it's necessary. Just think of the savings you will have when you move if it's cheaper and better. That may help you to resolve yourself to moving.

I don't like moving either. It's a pain but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and go with it. Look at it as a way to declutter and destash. You can go through everything you own and get rid of a lot of excess instead of packing it to go.

I do not know anyone that actually likes to move, if someone does I have yet to meet them. I swear the next time we are moving, we are hiring movers. I am fine to pack everything up and unpack everything but I am well past the age to want to deal with loading everything into a few vehicles and moving it all by hand.

I hear you, wilmak. I was thinking the same thing. I don't mind the packing up and the unpacking but the moving is well beyond me now. I would rather hire someone to do it than deal with the hassle.

Do I hate to move? Yes.
Do I think it is a better financial decision sometimes? Yes.
Do I think I'll stay where am I am at the rest of my life? No.
Does the wife? Yes.

It takes me a while to feel at home, along with unpacking and settling in. But sometimes it is necessary.
