Default Paint Vs. Wallpaper

We need to do some sprucing up on our house before we close up for the winter. I'm debating using wallpaper instead of paint this time around. What do you think? Should I go with paint or wallpaper?

Paint definitely! Have you ever tried taking wall paper down before? I have on several occasions. Removing it is always a horrible endeavour that frequently leads to sheetrock repairs needing to be made.

Well I like both so it would be a tough decision for me to make. And actually if you prime your walls good before putting the wallpaper up you won't have a hard time taking it down. We've done it a few times and although it does make a mess, it came down fine.

I love wallpaper. There are loads of fun patterns out there and I love the look of wallpaper. Have you seen the wallpaper that you can paint?? Then you have the best of both worlds! LOL

I use wallpaper on a set of old bookcases so it's easier to clean the shelves-everything else is paint because there's no annoying patterns to try to match up at the seams.
