I've seen people doing faux painting with a feather. It looks like marble when they get done. Is this terribly hard or is it something I could do with a little practice. I love the look and would love to do my bathroom this way.
I've seen the end result but I didn't know how they did it. That's fascinating! I'd love to do a bathroom or living room like this. If you find a link of how to do it, would you please post it so I can see it? Thanks!
The dermatologist I go to see has her office painted like that! It's lovely and very deceptive to the eye. At first I thought it was marble but I found out it was paint and I have always wanted to try it.
Ooh, I've seen the end result of that technique - it can look very elegant if accented correctly. It doesn't look terribly difficult to do, but I've no idea on the specifics. Good luck!
It sounds very time consuming, unless you have a really large feather. I'm sure the end result is beautiful, but I don't know if I'd have the patience.
I have seen a little sponge work done before but it was more on a decorative wall not the entire room. From what I remember it took quite sometime to get right so you might want to practice before doing a large area.
