How do you know which job takes a palm sander and which takes a full sized sander. I need to sand the walls before I put primer on them, but I don't know which sander is better.
My educated guess would be a palm sander. We used a full sized sander on our floors and it was pretty powerful. I would worry about damaging the drywall.
I would go with a palm size sander too. I actually own 2 palm sanders, 1 detail sander and 1 full size sander. I use the small detail sander on wood crafts and the palm on anything else.
