Default Pavers

I want to make a small outdoor patio. Just a little area to sit outside. Has anyone ever laid pavers down for something like this? Is it hard? Is there anything easier? I do not even want to attempt it, if it is hard.

It seems easy from what I have read and seen on HGTV. I think the important thing when laying the first layer of sand is to make sure it is level. I might try this project myself one day.

There are some great videos at Lowe's.com/videos and YouTube. It looks like something I could handle, especially smaller areas. The patios look very nice. I'm wondering if they can be pressured cleaned, though.

A good thing to do is to get a book at one of the home improvement stores that lays out the details involved with a project like this. Then you could decide if you think its hard or not.

They do look nice when they are done right. The most important thing is making sure it is level. Like the others mentioned, you could get some books or videos from Lowe's or Home Depot that should help a lot.

The hardest part is getting the base layer level. Any little mistakes can show up over time. Once that is done properly it goes fairly easy.

HGTV.com has some videos that can guide you to how to do this properly, too. I can't think of which show that I saw them on, but you should be able to search the entire site.
